New in Singapore: Lentor Modern First Look & Food Guide

There’s always something exciting about checking out a new mall in Singapore, especially one that’s been quietly building buzz before you’ve even stepped foot in the area. This time, I found myself heading to Lentor on a Saturday afternoon, right after wrapping up my online classes, curious to see what this new spot had to offer. I’ll admit, this was my first time exploring the Lentor neighbourhood, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Would it feel like a hidden gem, or just another addition to Singapore’s ever-growing list of malls? With a mix of anticipation (and hunger), I set out to explore Lentor Modern , ready to see if its food options, atmosphere, and overall vibe lived up to the hype. In this post, I’ll be sharing my first impressions, what you can expect when visiting, and of course, the food spots that caught my attention. If you’re planning a visit or just curious about what’s new in this part of Singapore, here’s a closer look at Lentor Modern through a foodie’s lens b...

Food Review | Han Geun Doo Geun Korean Restaurant

I have tried Korean BBQ previously with my ex-colleagues in Bugis but that restaurant has since closed down. Haha... Now back to a different restaurant that consider serving quite authentic Korean BBQ. Enjoyable dinner with my ex-colleagues with lots of catching up.

Han Geun Doo Geun is located at Chinatown Point Level 2. It has been long since I came here and can't remember they took over from what restaurant. Anyway the Chinese restaurant is sandwich between Han Geun Doo Geun and the famous Bijin Nabe 塚田農場 美人鍋 restaurant.

Now, is time to spam all the pics now.......

The amount of oil is the amount of BBQ-ing in 2+ hrs.
Kept downing their tea to cleanse up from all the BBQ food.

They have lots to choose from in their menu, be it for BBQ or to consume immediately. Cooked and raw ones. You know you are in for BBQ so we do the BBQ way. Get the raw and start busying yourself with the food. It doesn't require oil as the meat produces the oil/water from it. Can I say is natural? To me, so long as there is no oil require for BBQ or cooking, it is healthy but heaty. So drink up.

One thing they should do is up their patience towards customers although they may have short of manpower due to the dining crowds. And don't show that impatience attitude in front of customers. This is a no-no in service line. At least to me. Other than that, everything else is good.

Adult: $36.90++ (Dinner)

My Personal Favourite: their Chicken for BBQ and their small pot of Army Stew. Oh and their Fried Kimchi Dumplings. Their side dish station is awe with about 10 kinds to choose from and you can have all you want so long as you don't waste food! Finish every bits.

And then, I realize having this BBQ is not as bad as previously where we smell so flavourful from the BBQ from top to toe. Overwhelmed the other passengers in the train on our way home. Great.

They are at: 133 New Bridge Road, #02-35 Chinatown Point, Singapore 059413.
Nearest MRT: Chinatown (NEL)
