Ingredients in Shampoos and Conditioners That Cause Hair Loss

Eh... I blog about this for my own purpose. Because I am having terrible hair fall/loss and now from thick hair, it is turning thinner. I don't like it. I must find ways to eliminate this thing.  So I hope this post is a good start for myself. Crossed my fingers. I will be very careful from now in choosing shampoos. U may want to read on to find out more if you are having the same problem as me. No harm. I am going back home later to check it out all the shampoos at home.  Arrgh...

Ingredients in Shampoos and Conditioners That Cause Hair Loss
Shampoos and conditioners are marketed as being formulated to keep hair healthy, shiny and free of dandruff and tangles. Despite this, many shampoos on the market contain ingredients that may actually damage hair and irritate the scalp. In extreme cases, some of these ingredients may even cause or exacerbate hair loss. These additives can be avoided by taking the time to read the labels on hair care products.

Bachelorette Party

Well well... I am so into this topic because I saw lotsa party but all are almost the same.
The MOST BORINGone will be going to clubs/pubs to drink, do silly stuff like asking some unknown people from next table for a kiss, drink and etc or get the Bride to be on stage and let the host to the trick. Basically, if there is ever this type of hen's night for me in near future, please don't bother to even tell me.
My initial idea of my own bachelorette party will be a few real close girlfriends going for a spa that includes massage, sauna, tea-time, facial, manicure pedicure for the whole day. Pampering ourselves in this way feel a bit more atas than dead drunk or unglam or making yourself like a fool in a club/pub. Yucky.  Ya I give the benefit of doubt. Maybe most of the time, the Bride to be won't get drunk. But they will be asked to do embarrassing stuff. I DON'T LIKE!  Because I can honestly tell u that when I am high, that's it! U can see the most unglam me out o…

Merry Christmas!!!

Hello everyone. Merry Christmas 2012!!!!!  Hope u peeps enjoy your holiday, wherever u r from. Here in Singapore at 9.42am that I'm posting this on a 25 Dec 2012... Wow... 2012 is ending in 6 days time. What do u have in mind for 2013? What do u look forward to in your 2013?
I personally look forward to finishing up my undergraduate program with all passes. This is top priority!  I know is not gonna be easy but I must get over it.
Anyway is Christmas Day! I shall share with you my over-exaggerating month of December, full of logcakes. Reason because my mum wanna collect the cute Christmas figurines. I am wondering if Phoon Huat sells those figurines. If there is, I will go buy instead of spending so much on logcakes. Too much logcakes is fatness to me.
Prima Deli
The first logcake is bought by myself. I went Jurong Point and happens to see that there is promotion at Prima Deli. And so I bought it. Promotion price at $35 but my credit card has rebates or whatsoever which I can redeem …

Balancing Hormones

Some ladies can be experiencing hormones imbalance (I don't mean guys won't but most of the time, it happen on us ladies).  Mi too. Not surprising on that.
Mine are like skin irritants, massive hair loss (my hair has become thinner as compare from last time but not to the extend of bald yet) etc. Has been like that for 4+ years.  So I can't blame it all on my aggressive exercise regime since May 2011 because I wanna slim down.  I was at 55-56kg before May 2011, height at 1.60cm. BMI still within the healthy range but still not satisfied about it.  Then slowly, with my running, swimming, once a while gym session, once a while rope skipping and walking up the stairs, my weight finally drop though it is like the stock market, up and down between 50-52kg. But has never gone back to 55-56kg since then.  The effort comes from last year till date.  Though my diet has not really change much because I still eat junkies but I have since take a smaller meal. My portion of rice has re…

His & Her Q&A

What is this all about? Yup... I just saw this post via Pinterest and I find it quite worth reading.
I have been with my guy for 4+ years and counting. Our conversation will not get away from work. Other than work, very little converse on other stuff.  I am always the one finding the topics to communicate with him. Whenever I see a big news on papers about other countries politics or whatsoever, I tell him and from there he started talking about what he sees and so the conversation goes on. But when I tell him about Singapore stuff, he is like BOO BOO!!! Anyway though we are local-breed (SBC - Singapore Born Chinese) but due to the fact that we can't agree on some policies implemented in the country, we dislike to talk about it and instead like to criticize it.  Hahahah... Okay then other stuff like sports or travelling, is somehow our converse topics, sometimes. Ya.. I really agree that after many years together, we run out of topics to talk about except work. Most of our time we…

Winter Solstice Festival

Source from Wikipedia:
The Dōngzhì Festival or Winter Solstice Festival (Chinese: 冬至; pinyin: Dōngzhì; literally "the Arrival of Winter") is one of the most important festivals celebrated by the Chinese and other East Asians during the Dongzhi solar term (winter solstice) on or around December 22 when sunshine is weakest and daylight shortest. It occurs on Friday, December 21, 2012.
The origins of this festival can be traced back to the yin and yang philosophy of balance and harmony in the cosmos. After this celebration, there will be days with longer daylight hours and therefore an increase in positive energy flowing in. The philosophical significance of this is symbolized by the I Ching hexagram fù (復, "Returning").
Traditionally, the Dongzhi Festival is also a time for the family to get together. One activity that occurs during these get togethers (especially in the southern parts of China and in Chinese communities overseas) is the making and eating of tangyuan (湯…

Dearies Club Annual Xmas Gathering - P2

So just walk across... We reached The Queen & Mangosteen.

Is all about Queen... So I expect we are treated like Queens too by the servers.  This reminds mi of the restaurant Queens at Sentosa Boardwalk. Hahahaha... I went there once on my birthday with my guy. Guess what?  Don't know is it no business or we are too early, we are like their first customer. Den subsequently more people pop in for dinner.

Here comes the food...

When it comes to sausages, please have it while it is hot piping. Realise that after it turns cold, doesn't taste nice anymore, even the best sausage on earth. Seriously. So I aim the chips. I don't know why I love salty food. Not good for health but it sips in your diet unknowingly and deliberately. Hahahaha... Wings!!!! I love the hot wings loads.

Mcdonald's also my fav. So long is this type one, my fav. Ya... remind u again to have it when it is hot!

The thick cut chips vs the thing cut chips. The thick one tastes more like potato wedges to me,…

Dearies Club Annual Xmas Gathering - P1

Well... This is the 2nd round since the club started. The first round was full strength. Everyone turn up. I remember is at Vivo City too, Superdog!  And for this year, is Fruit Paradise at Vivo too but later on switch to The Queen & Mangosteen at Vivo also. Ya... the members said that the tarts are not filling up their stomach at all. All the big eaters. What to do?
The turn up this year was.... okay lah! Short of 2 members to complete the whole. Plus underage little girl (one member brought along her daughter because no one take care).  But the whole night is all about food and gossiping and also gift exchange. Al sort of funny requests we made while taking photos especially during the gift exchange. Our gift exchange is as simple as ABC. Each bring along one present and we draw lots to see who present to who.
Okay let the peektures to tell the whole story of that night of 18 Dec 2012.

Aiya... I pack goodie bags the day before actu…

Wedding on 9 Dec 2012

Yup... Attended my first ever Indian wedding and was quite anticipating. Went alone and was looking forward to meeting my ex-colleagues there. And yes... is my ex-colleague's wedding. At first, never thought will see many of them but end up many familiar faces appeared.
Held at Lagun Sari, Joo Chiat Road. U can check out their website and here is the link. Guess what? Head down via MRT to Dakota. And from there took cab to the actual venue. My planning all failed. Want to go on budget and deciding to take bus but end up, I almost get myself lost in SINGAPORE!!!! Stupid miii...
Reach there quite on time but end up starting the ceremony for an hour plus till almost 9pm then buffet starts. Saw lotsa ladies in their nice sari... So traditional. Love!!!
Here are some peektures taken that day, courtesy of my fren, Ifah and her guy...

So this is the bride and the groom... Blissful marriage ahead and stay loving always.... Best wishes from myself....

Bad Week!

Yup... Today is Friday (14 Dec 2012) and I am just recovering from my fever cum cough cum flu. Wonderful isn't it?
It started on Sunday night. Came back home with a bad headache. Pop panadol and head to sleep. Then the following day, it developed into flu cum running nose. It lasted for like 2 days and it is terrible... Then finally on Wed, I decided to c doctor. But never know that the medicine prescribed to me are damn strong till it develops further to fever. Well done!  Again pop panadol and sleep. When the headache is killing u even when u r sleeping, it means it didn't work. So I bear thru out the night before I decided to take MC!
So Thursday is the day. I wake up 8.30am. Send email to that weirdo, telling him I will b on MC. Den went back lying on bed. Till my mum accompany mi to see a doctor. And that's it. My fever at 38degC++... Yup I am having fever. For farking long time, I am finally really damn down with a fever. That's very rare but when it comes, it hit…

My Pre Xmas Gathering One

2nd day of December 2012. I am looking forward to the gathering at his friend's house. Seriously. I rather go house-hopping than club-hopping. It is much more expensive if the latter is chose. However, I don't know whether they sense that age is catching up, clubbing is no more for them. That's why they opt for more homely kind of gathering.
We suppose to reach at 2pm to kick start the steamboat but was way late at the host is freaking hungry while waiting for us. Went to buy their beers. Imagine 12 big bottles of Tiger + 2 bottles of Hoegarden. Well... drinking is unavoidable for these guys. So drink till drop bah.
Finally we have reached. They bring out all the food and sort. No rice or noodles. Just the food you see below.  A lot right? Don't tell me if not alot because we almost can't finish it. Oh my god!!! It is so coincidence. All my favourite mushrooms, quail eggs and fishballs. Shame on me but that's what most of the time I will have with steamboat.
