Image
Grilled Soya Sauce Chicken
This dish consists of two drumsticks. Unlike my previous attempts using mid-joints and wings, this is much simpler and time-saving. Probably you might have seen posts on my homemade/homecooked fried chicken or on my Instagrambut then, this time round I'm using Panasonic NN-CS894B Steam Convection Microwave Oven to do the job instead of air-fryer.

Preparation time: 5 mins          Cooking Time: 18 mins

Marination: Pepper1 tbsp of Honey2 tbsp of Oyster Sauce2 tbsp of Premium Black Bean Marinade Sauce1 tsp of Dark Soya SauceMethod: Put the marination ingredients on drumsticks and mix them well. Ensure the drumsticks are well-covered with the sauces. Then cover with cling wrap over the bowl and fridge overnight. For me, I leave it for 2 nights. I always believe the longer you leave it, the more flavourful it will be. Ready to cook. choose Crispy Grill on Panasonic NN-CS894B Steam Convection Microwave Oven for 5 mins first. When it is done, pour in the balance mar…

Culinary | Homecooked Cantonese Style Steamed Egg

Image
I know nuts about cooking before I got married and that worries my mum. So she got me down to learning from her, a Cantonese Style Steamed Egg dish that was handed down by my paternal grandmother. Her purpose is for this recipe to continue for generations after me because we are Cantonese. She has probably a few more Cantonese recipes to teach me but then, this is the simplest dish I will ever want to learn (for a newbie cook).
Now I'm gonna show you peeps the making of this dish using Panasonic NN-CS894 Steam Convection Microwave Oven

Culinary | Curry within the Garlic Bread

Image
Sounds familiar? That's right. My version of The Golden Pillow 933, whommade its name in our local food scene for its famous Curry in the Loaf. Nice treat for curry lovers. Instead of buying French baguette or bread for your curry, it satisfies you with both at one go, all freshly made.
So I'm gonna do the homemade version called Curry within the Garlic Bread. Thanks to my husband's suggestion. This is a big leap in my baking and cooking journey. Fortunately, I have Panasonic SD-P104 Bread Makerand Panasonic NN-CS894 Steam Convection Microwave Ovenwith my husband along side to help and guide me through the process.

Panasonic Bread Maker

You might have read my previous post on Sausage Buns. This will be the 2nd attempt in making Garlic Bread by reducing the amount on the herbs, garlic and onion. Hopefully no more wet and sticky dough for this recipe.

Starting with the bread dough. I'm gonna use Menu 9 Bread Dough which enables you to create your own flavoured buns. Th…

Culinary | Sausage Buns with a Modern Touch

Image
Sausage buns are common in our local food scene and it is one of my favourite bite from breakfast to lunch and even as a snack. It is a convenience food for everyone and can easily access to at any local bakeries. There are also varieties of sausage bun creations to appeal the different taste buds. Tell me which bakeries in Singapore doesn't have it in their menu. They gonna lose out a lot of income to other bakeries who has it.
Before I got married, I have zero knowledge on baking (likewise for cooking). Tried pre-mix with instruction but the success rate is inconsistent. Sometimes I really wanna give up when I failed big times. Only after Panasonic SD-P104 Bread Makercame into my life early this year, it is a boost to my morale and confidence in baking. My saviour. With the help of the breadmaker along with my beginner skill, no more wastage of ingredients and food again. I love it to the moon and back.

Besides, the breadmaker is easy to use and keep. Anyone like me, a newbie …
