When we were kids, it wasn’t easy for our parents to watch us grow up and transition into independent adults. Now watching our parents grow older is never easy too, especially when memory begins to fade. Over the past few years, particularly since the COVID period, I started noticing small changes in my mum as time goes by. At first, it was forgetfulness. Then it began to hit hard with repetition, confusion, and moments that felt unfamiliar. Brought them out to the mall for a walk. What makes it harder is that my dad is her primary caregiver, managing almost everything at home while the rest of us live separately. Like many families, we’re learning as we go, figuring out how to support both of them in ways that are practical, sustainable, and compassionate. In Taiwan, they have 草莓族,月光族 and 七年级生。I fall into all this categories. I think most of my frens are in the same cat la... Some mayb not in 月光族。Bt I stil believe I gt frens in tis cat. Haha.. Here is the definition:
月光族:指將每月賺的錢都用光、花光的人,所謂「洗光吃光,身體健康」,而不進行儲蓄。

草莓族:一詞最早被食品業者拿來形容15歲以下的消費者,以草莓來象徵這個族群的天真、好奇。但後來則取其光鮮亮麗、甜中帶酸的生澀、在溫室中長大及一捏就破的特性,開始以草莓族來稱呼1981年後出生的世代(有時也包含1981年前數年出生的世代)。
