I have been with my guy for 4+ years and counting. Our conversation will not get away from work. Other than work, very little converse on other stuff. I am always the one finding the topics to communicate with him. Whenever I see a big news on papers about other countries politics or whatsoever, I tell him and from there he started talking about what he sees and so the conversation goes on. But when I tell him about Singapore stuff, he is like BOO BOO!!! Anyway though we are local-breed (SBC - Singapore Born Chinese) but due to the fact that we can't agree on some policies implemented in the country, we dislike to talk about it and instead like to criticize it. Hahahah... Okay then other stuff like sports or travelling, is somehow our converse topics, sometimes. Ya.. I really agree that after many years together, we run out of topics to talk about except work. Most of our time we spend on work. Nothing but work. Imagine 8-9 hours spend at work and very little time for our ownselves. This is life. What to do, right?
