LADY M Champagne Bar | Food Review

Recently I kept seeing lots of High-tea promotions going on, whether hotels or cafes, literally a lot. And I wish I have the capacity to go and try everyone of them. I have been to my 1st for 2022 in March (read here)and then it just continues.

This time chose Lady M Champagne Bar partly is because one of my friend loves their Matcha cakes (although isn't in the high-tea set) and also they kind of have a collaboration with Dior and so everyone gets a 2ml perfume as a gift. I'm a Dior fan here after my 1st purchase of their bag (and eat grass for a month). Anyway, this was gonna be an expensive high-tea but hanging out with my ladies again after we last met was great. Talked about anything under the sun, as usual.

Oh ya... pls make reservation before hand to avoid disappointment. Now everywhere I go, I will try to make reservation so that I don't need to wait too long.

TABLE TO TABLE SERVICE - TEA BREWING

While we waited to be served with our High Tea, we chose our preferred teas first, Rose Black and White Coconut Crème. They brewed on the spot and even timed it to make sure the tea leaves sipped the required amount of time to get the right taste. Temperature control was important factor too.

Both teas were really smooth, with the creamy, coconut-ty smell from White Coconut Crème. Made the right choice to go with our food.

OUR SPREAD

THE SAVOURY

The bite-sized food went well for us ladies. We went from bottom to top, starting with the different sandwiches from lobster toast, egg mayo and cucumber sandwiches. I loved the lobster toast because you could taste the lobster meat and also the tartlet and mushroom puff pastry on the top tier. Thumbs up.

THE SWEET

We had at least 3 different types of Mille Crepes, mini lemon tart and cream choux puff. Even though it was small Mille Crepes but you could taste many layers and they weren't too sweet. The crust of the lemon tart was so soft that it felt like anytime it would break. Oh I like the lemon tart, a balance of sweet and lemony.

CHAMPAGNE

The champagne was served when we finished our food. And I ended up drinking their share. Took few hours to wear off the high-ness. But it was a good experience, chatting while sipping away. I didn't leave a single drop in the glass. No wasting.

Thank you my dears for the treat and gift and the great company on a Saturday!!! We shall make it a point to celebrate each other's birthday from now on. ❤️

If you asked whether worth coming, I would say depends on what you looking for. The price was slightly steep at $60++ per pax although there were champagne to enjoy and a 2ml Dior perfume to take away. We sat there for 2 hrs at least and even ordered 1 more pot of tea before leaving to make the money worthwhile. The food was good although too little (literally 1 pc for each of us). Oh ya... you paid for the ambience too.

And the experience and service provided by the friendly lady, Ms Daisy was commendable too. Agreed by three of us. Thank you Daisy. We like you! You helped us took nice group pictures too. Thank you and sending all the love to you.
