Haeundae Blueline Park - Songjeong Station If you’ve been following along with my recent Korea travel series over at my YouTube Channel , you’ve already seen some of the biggest highlights and the most unforgettable views from our 8-day itinerary. But as any creator knows, the video editing room floor leaves behind some of the best, most intimate moments. Between rushing to catch tour buses, adjusting camera angles, and simply wanting to step back and just soak in the atmosphere without a lens in my face, there were a handful of stunning places that never made it into the final vlogs. So, consider this blog post the "bonus footage." Now I’m sharing the stories, the hidden history, and the quiet morning walks from three incredible and distinct villages: Seongeup Folk Village in Jeju, Ikseon-dong Hanok Street in Seoul, and Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan . Before I begin, have you watch the video on Jeju Water World ? Osulloc Tea Museum ~ in Jeju Island Our itinerary inc...
Finally got to try out this place after a year of wait. We can't catch up with changes at times but at least we tried. One shot met my ladies for dinner here. Not far from Lavendar MRT, you need to navigate your way here. Realized after dinner, there was another shop selling Taiwanese food called Eat 3 Bowls just few units away from Feima. Actually this block 462 itself have a few interesting cafes. Next round I shall go try.
Who miss Taiwanese night markets? This sight was missed for the past 2 years plus. Been to Raohe Night Market before and it was so crowded with people and food (of course all their night markets are crowded, not sure about now). The 胡椒饼 is a must try there and I did saw long queue back then I was there.
They played old songs from Jay Chou, Vivian Hsu and many more (in the loop) and all these Taiwanese vibes running in this shop. Totally love it!
A sauce bar for you to DIY your own sauce or dip to go with your food. I'm not a sauce or dip person as I believe in having on its own. Unless really tasteless then I will go for some but not a lot.
This self-served fridge full of Taiwan beverages. My favourite 麦香红茶 that I would drink in Taiwan, Sarsaparilla that tasted like Sarsi or Rootbeer and Apple Sidra for sweet tooth humans. You have to pay by the way. Drink as much as you like but pay accordingly.
This 米血糕 a must try! Although it was cooked in the soup but still maintained its good texture and flavour, somewhere near to glutinous rice texture but firmer yet a little chewy. Have you tried it at Taiwan night markets? They are sold in sticks (at least whenever I saw it) and I actually resisted having it because wild thoughts of the taste running through my mind because it was black in colour.
Enjoy the short video on our food and its surrounding. You might meet 肥妈本人也说不定. I think is her because the portrait really looks 99% similar. Only 2 persons manning the shop and she is one of them. Their entrance to the shop was vending machine concept. You can see Taiwan snacks and beverages in it. I saw my favourite 王子面.
At their cashier counter, spotted Chia Te pineapple and cranberry tarts. Not sure if it was for show or they really got sell them. I'm curious about cranberry tarts as it was new to me at least. Never mind. Time will come when I can fly to Taiwan for holiday again. Bring me all the Taiwan Vibes again!
Thanks to my ladies' treat for me this year!
