Sophisca Singapore x IamStellaChen | Giveaway

Frankly speaking, I'm someone who loves interesting and weird stuff. Seriously, the things I buy are unusual as compared to other ladies out there. And sometimes I find that I'm so not feminine at all. But who cares right? This is so me. When I go for holidays, I come back with stuff like magnets, cartoon face masks, Nanoblocks, air freshener and more. Things that ladies don't usually buy unless they help their friends to buy.

I think about 10 years ago when I first travelled to Taiwan for holidays, it was the Taiwanese idol drama craze. We watched many Taiwanese dramas and so much wanting to go there to get a feel of the places where the dramas are shot. Especially Xi Men Ding. And that is where I found Sophisca. So attracted by their items like Sanitary Pad packaging, Condom boxes, Dollar note boxes and many more. Haha... of course it contains chocolates not the real pad or condom. Good way to trick your friends.

Not long after (maybe years later), I remember seeing their first store in Singapore at Jurong Point basement. I was delighted because don't need to travel to Taiwan for their products. Now they have outlets at Marina Square new extension and also Changi Airport Terminal 3. Visitors from around the world can grab some gifts for friends and family if they come by Singapore or even for transit.

For Sophisca, this is the first ever True Words series being designed and customized for Singapore, other than where is originated (Taiwan). At $2.90 per piece, you get not just the cute and attention-seeking boxes but also there are chocolates in it for you to enjoy. If I were you, I will eat the chocolate away and the boxes for keep-sake.

Recently, there are 19 terms of Singaporean's Singlish added on Oxford Dictionary (read here). Not yet for the above 4 but what do they mean? Find out here.

  • Alamak  - a surprise or shock reaction (almost like 'Oh my God')
  • Paiseh - a shy or embarrassing reaction (almost like you realise you make a mistake and you say 'Sorry sorry')
  • Relak Lah! - merely asking someone to chill and not to get tense up. Relax lah...
  • Lobang - In Malay, it means a hole. Otherwise, it is known as having a good deal or having opportunities.

There are lots more than what you know from here because we use them very often in daily life. So now do you wanna get your hands on them? Join the giveaway which is really simple.
