Jeju Island's Hidden Gem: The "Secret World" Tucked Inside a World Cup Stadium

If you think you’ve seen everything Jeju Island has to offer, think again. After 11 years away, I expected to see changes, but I never expected to find a literal  "Secret World"  hidden right underneath the seats of the  Jeju World Cup Stadium . Can't believe I'm at the hosting venue of FIFA World Cup 2002 Completed in 2001, in time for the event in 2002 Hosted 3 matches of FIFA World Cup 2002 The Grandeur of Jeju World Cup Stadium Before we even stepped inside to find the hidden gem, the stadium itself was a sight to behold. Its unique roof design is known to resembles traditional Jeju fishing nets (or Bangat-no), it was one of the host venues for the  2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea. It’s a impressively massive structure that sits beautifully against Jeju landscape. The unique roof design of the stadium While most people only visit for the sports history or the architecture, it’s what lies beneath the stands that really caught my attention. It’s a perfect examp...

Nailing my Comfy OOTD for Work ~ 2023

I shall do an annual work OOTD post to see how my preference for work attire changes over the years. If you miss out on my previous posts, here are the links:
Basically, I bought quite a fair bit of work clothing in JB. Fits me well so just buy it since is affordable. Next trip out to JB also gonna buy another work pants in another colour of the same design. Let's start for 2023!

TWEED DRESS: Brands Outlet JB NEW!
BAG: Michael Kors NEW!
SHOES: Sunnysteps Balance Runner NEW!

I'm not a pink person but that was the only colour (another one was black) appropriate for Lunar New Year and because it was a Chanel-inspired tweed dress so must buy it even without side pockets which I'm very particular about. Lastly, my MK bag, a Hermes Birkin inspired. There was a big MK lock with the bag but I removed it to make it look almost similar to Hermes. Actually, I prefer a Kelly.

TWEEDED ATTIRE: Brands Outlet JB NEW!
TANK TOP: Uniqlo NEW!
BAG: Longchamp (Lunch Bag)
SHOES: Loafers from Shopee NEW!

Since they have matching jackets and skirts, just buy both and match them with a simple tank top. Yes, the weather is hot and I can't stand the heat out there wearing this jacket but in the office, perfect. Honestly, this material needs to be careful when wearing because can be spoilt easily with the threading coming out if you hook on something.

DRESA: IORA (JB) NEW!
SHOES: Loafers from Shopee
BAG: Coach

In my 2022 OOTD Summary post, I got a similar dress in beige colour (click here). During a day trip to JB, I spotted 2 different colours of the same design at IORA. Decided to grab both colours in grey (above) and a light orangey or pinkish for the 2024 Lunar New Year 开工. Yes, I am this advance since I know what I want.

DRESS: Uniqlo NEW!
SHOES: Loafers from Shopee NEW!
BAG AND BELT: Coach

It looks like any of my old dresses but I swear is a wool dress (based on the touch on the fabric) in navy colour. Because it is a little low-cut on the underarms area so I wear a tube top instead of a bra. And is slightly shorter than other dresses. Sleeveless dresses are hot weather friendly. Also got me another colour of loafers. Now I have 3 pairs of different colours to match.

DRESS: Random shop at Chinatown Point NEW!

Didn't manage to snap a lift selfie so here I am at home with my dirty mirror. Haha... This dress costs me $120+ but worth it because I love it so much. Kind of loose on the waist level but the hip was alright. I saw another colour that matches my Dior bag but now off the rack already. Spotted new colours instead. OMG! Oh and spot my short hair too. Haha...

That's all for 2023's Work OOTDs (I hope). From pocket-friendly dresses (esp those from JB) to expensive ones. Trying to find a balance in between especially on prices so that I can wear it for long and with confidence. Eh... most importantly, I must like it. Cheers!
