2022 Work #OOTD Summary

My most trusted lift mirror would be the one in my office building. Compiling for 2022 OOTD, nothing much changes like just a few more pieces in my wardrobe. My criteria for all work dresses: must have pockets (said in my 2021 #OOTD post, click here to read). But somehow, I give in to one or two pieces because it looks good on me.

1. FRIDAY DRESS DOWN
TOP: Coach (New)
BOTTOM: Levis
BAG: Louis Vuitton (New)

Actually I loved my Coach top more than the bag (which is much pricier). I don't know why but zero regrets for buying their top. Oh ya... I have been Coach's 'loyal' customer since don't know when and was told by the SA that my spending is near Gold member. What the.... I'm always attracted to their items and each time I go IMM, I'm so afraid to go in their store because I will come out with a big hole in my pocket (hypocritical Stella). But I still will go for their items if I come across nice pieces.

2. OFFICE WEAR
Jacket: Ezbuy

Okay the focus here is the leather jacket. I finally can wear it after slimming down (for a year plus) and also after leaving it in the wardrobe for many years, it is still in good condition like no cracks or peeling out. So I appointed it as my office jacket. Looking so manly when I wear it. Cool.

3. ANY OTHER WORK DAYS #OOTD 1
Dress: IORA (New)
Shoes: DMK (New)
Lunch bag: Longchamp

I loved this coordination between grainy and white colour. And my lunch bag matches perfectly with the dress. I can go for more of this colour so long the tone is right and reasonably priced. For the shoes, I went to get from DMK instead of Another Sole because it was cheaper and comfy as well. Almost similar like those from Another Sole. Anyway, I'm flat footed so don't need buy too expensive shoes.

4. ANY OTHER WORK DAYS #OOTD 2
Dress: Padini (New)

Happily shopping at Padini when I went in to JB with my friend. I find this dress doesn't look okay with a belt, but without a belt, it looks like pregnant lady and also making my legs look short (according to Mister). Anyway I will try the next time without belt and see the effect. Just like No. 3 which goes well without a belt. The rest of my other old dresses, much needed a belt. Also after hearing from a friend long time ago, I go for more colours rather than just BLACK because too boring.

Updated as of 17 Nov 2022: Okay I accepted that this one needed no belt. So total 2 dresses shall go belt-less. But this one looks waistless. Sighz... Anyway hope I won't see anyone with the same dress as me in Singapore. Hahaha...

Updated as of 5 December 2022: okay now it completely made a difference with another belt and shoes. This shall be the fixed look for the dress.

5. ANY OTHER WORK DAYS #OOTD 3
Pants: Padini (New)
Reversible Belt: Coach (New)

Got the pants on the same day same outlet as No. 4 dress from Padini. Finally I got pants for work. So bored with dresses and skirts at times so pants was so much needed for me, especially on those days of the month. I felt more secure wearing a pants. And finally got a decent belt that was reversible in black and brown. Perfect colours for most of my dresses and even this pants.

A short post once again. So long I look decent with old dresses, few new pieces per year for work purpose is still fine. Best is don't buy because high inflation and everything is expensive. Enough of ranting. Stay tune for my next post! Cheers.
