Beyond the Camera: What I Didn't Show You in My Korea TravelVlog

Haeundae Blueline Park - Songjeong Station If you’ve been following along with my recent Korea travel series over at my YouTube Channel , you’ve already seen some of the biggest highlights and the most unforgettable views from our 8-day itinerary. But as any creator knows, the video editing room floor leaves behind some of the best, most intimate moments. Between rushing to catch tour buses, adjusting camera angles, and simply wanting to step back and just soak in the atmosphere without a lens in my face, there were a handful of stunning places that never made it into the final vlogs. So, consider this blog post the "bonus footage." Now I’m sharing the stories, the hidden history, and the quiet morning walks from three incredible and distinct villages: Seongeup Folk Village in Jeju, Ikseon-dong Hanok Street in Seoul, and Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan .  Before I begin, have you watch the video on Jeju Water World ?  Osulloc Tea Museum ~ in Jeju Island Our itinerary inc...

Dior Summer 2025 Collection Event - By Invitation

Well everyone. A brand new year with lots more invitations from my favourite brand and my favourite SA. Can't contain my excitement. Starting the year straight with the Summer 2025 Collection held at 72-13 Robertson Quay, which is walking distance from New Bahru. All on my YouTube Channel if you wanna explore New Bahru. Click on the link.

It was a super hot weather that day but kind of excited and worried at the same time because I can't wait to see the next collection (though I roughly watched snippets of their runway in Paris) and also not sure what will once again break my bank from shopping. Will it be a bag, accessories or apparels? Fingers crossed.

My SA said this was their yearly biggest pop-up store event for their Summer 2025 collection. And also for the first time, they have both Men's and Ladies items in the same location and plenty of photo spots, including a 3-metre high Dior Sculpture. This event ran for only a week so I avoided those media and influencers dates. By the time I went with my bestie, quite a fair bits of apparels already sold out as some were exclusive products that can only be purchased at the venue.

Oh ya... heard from my SA that D-Journey bag still have a long waiting list because it was sold out. I feel so lucky to grab it in February without hesitating because this bag is totally different from Dior's usual bags collection. I already have their tote bag, Lady Dior, Toujours and even Bobby. Now this one is more like a Hobo bag, and I'm too daring to get a light colour (scare it gets dirty easily). Watch my unboxing video of my beloved D-Journey bag here.

Spotted a Men's bag that looks so much like Hermes Birkin 30 or 35 bag. The retail price I think is about SGD10K if I did not hear it wrongly. Many nice Men's apparels this time. Something different from the usual.

Wore on Jay Chou

Guess what I'm looking at this time at the event? Their jeans. Now that I have their tees, shoes, bags, accessories and even dress. So need a jeans to complete a whole set of Dior collection on me. Got some ideas what I want and will arrange for an appointment to the boutique to try on before I buy. Hehehe... my bestie seems to be interested with their shoes. Finally she will give a second look on at Dior. You know yours truly here is a hard-core Dior fan.

After going through the collection, we settled for Dior Cafe. My SA dropped me a text few hours before my slot and he sounded more excited than I did. Hahaha... because of that Matcha Latte which was in the drink list for the first time. And small bites too, all for free. He being enthusiastic asked me to grab another drink after my Macchiato while he showed me a crossbody bag that I saw online. And rare times that my bestie never complained too sweet for the hi-tea set. Maybe because the food were so mini bite size.

Okay so we spent like an hour there looking at their collection and also at the cafe. Discussing on which jeans or shoes to considered. Before we left, he said he will invite us for more off-site events because definitely a different experience than in the boutique. So am I although I think is more convenient for me to go MBS than off-site location. Hahaha... That's all and please look forward to my next post. I will make effort to split my contents between my blog and Channel. I promise. Bye!
