They say Singapore is small, fast-paced, modern and in foreigners' eyes: man-made. But if you slow down and change your angle, it’s also incredibly scenic with histories going back to the 1800s - 1900s. And not just that, it is a free walkable tour. Or maybe you can cycle around too by spending a small amount to rent a bicycle. As a local Singaporean, it’s easy to take the streets we walk every day for granted. But lately, I’ve been picking up my camera again to look at my home country through the eyes of a traveler. No rushing, no text-heavy guides. Just Singapore, reimagined. By Your Truly. Hair Goals: Reviewing the Latest Vegamour GRO+ Advanced Hair Products
Recently, I received new GRO+ Advanced products from Vegamour and I can't be more grateful for the opportunity to try on their many products for my tresses. Get ready to elevate the hair game as I explore the latest innovations inVegamour hair care that promise to transform our tresses and scalp to a healthier one. Let's try the new GRO+ Advanced Hair Serum and Balancing Shampoo.
ICYMI, here are the links to my previous post since 2023 with Vegamour:
As compared to the GRO Hair Serum, the key ingredients are different but better for those with severe shedding or scalp concerns like myself. GROACTIVE+ Complex™, the patent-pending AI-discovered blend of polyphenol-rich plant actives that help reduce shedding; Spanish MicroAlgae, the prebiotic superfood that hydrates to balance our scalp and to support a healthy skin barrier; Plant Stem Cells, protein rich ingredient that help to anchor strands at the root. So now you know that not only our skin needs hydration, our scalp needs too.
Like I have said in my previous posts on Vegamour products, they are vegan-friendly, and no fragrance and silicones when formulating the products. I have personally tried a dropper of it on my half-dried hair after shower and it absorbs fast when applying. It looks milky on first look but it actually is water-based and light-weight. Of course with that, it doesn't feels greasy. And don't smell chemically.

GRO+ ADVANCED BALANCING SHAMPOO 236ML
The key ingredients in producing this shampoo are almost the same as the hair serum. Instead of Plant Stem Cells, an antioxidant Niacinamide is used to balance the scalp and to protect from oxidative stress. This shampoo works to cleanse and remove buildup on the scalp without stripping strands.
I choose to try out their shampoo so to use the hair serum thereafter for more effective results. You can purchase their Essential kits that consist of shampoo, conditioner and hair serum. Light-weight and foams up easily without strong fragrance smell. Use your finger tips (not nails) and gently massage it to your scalp. Leave it just for a minute before rinsing off. Remember to apply your hair serum after conditioning.
