First of all, I have to say that Vegamour is quite meticulous in small details, like the bottle pump head where you can 'lock' and 'unlock' to prevent spillage of the repair oil. Now I have no worries when I bring it with me on holidays.
Onto the application of HYDR-8 Weightless Repair Oil. Simply a few pumps on the palm depending on your hair texture, rub it evenly before running through your damp or dry hair, which I have tried on both and worked fine. And I'm sold with the difference after application.
I personally feel that it is more like liquid than oil because it isn't oily on my hands or my hair. But it gives your hair the softness, smoothness and brings the dull hair to shine. The absorption is really fast. Also the smell was neither overwhelming nor pungent. It seems like it untangled my hair and less frizzy after the first application, which matters to me so much. And it didn't triggered any sensitivity especially on my neck (because of my length) like itch or redness. A real testament of a Vegan product.
