Beyond the Camera: What I Didn't Show You in My Korea TravelVlog

Haeundae Blueline Park - Songjeong Station If you’ve been following along with my recent Korea travel series over at my YouTube Channel , you’ve already seen some of the biggest highlights and the most unforgettable views from our 8-day itinerary. But as any creator knows, the video editing room floor leaves behind some of the best, most intimate moments. Between rushing to catch tour buses, adjusting camera angles, and simply wanting to step back and just soak in the atmosphere without a lens in my face, there were a handful of stunning places that never made it into the final vlogs. So, consider this blog post the "bonus footage." Now I’m sharing the stories, the hidden history, and the quiet morning walks from three incredible and distinct villages: Seongeup Folk Village in Jeju, Ikseon-dong Hanok Street in Seoul, and Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan .  Before I begin, have you watch the video on Jeju Water World ?  Osulloc Tea Museum ~ in Jeju Island Our itinerary inc...

Labubu Takes Over VivoCity: The Popmart Pop-Up & Labubu Mini Market Experience

Labubu fans, it’s time to rejoice! From now to 19 October 2025, VivoCity is home to a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates everything we love about this quirky and adorable character. The Popmart Pop-Up Store (at Level 1 opposite Chagee) is showcasing an exclusive collection of Labubu-themed collectibles and merchandise, while the Labubu Mini Market (at level 3 open space), featuring the vibrant Wacky Mart series, serves as the ultimate photo op. With larger-than-life Labubu displays and whimsical designs, this Mini Market is a must-visit for fans who want to snap some Instagram-worthy shots and immerse themselves in Labubu’s playful world. Whether you’re a collector or simply looking for a fun, photo-filled adventure, this pop-up is not to be missed!

Before you head to VivoCity to explore the Popmart Pop-Up Store, here's something important to keep in mind: pre-registration is required for entry to the Popmart Pop-Up Store. While you can scan a QR code on-site to register, I found that things can get a little tricky when it comes to availability.

On the day of my visit, I was excited to check out the exclusive Labubu collectibles, but much to my disappointment, the store was fully booked when I tried to register on the spot. It wasn’t clear whether the slots were completely booked for the day or if the store was already full for the remainder of the event, which runs until October 19, 2025. So, if you’re planning to drop by, it might be a good idea to register ahead of time online to avoid the disappointment I faced. Check out their Instagram Profile @popmartsg for more information.

Despite my best efforts, I'm gonna give it a miss on one exclusive Labubu piece that I was really hoping to snag. Unfortunately, I’m not keen on making another trip just for that one item, especially with the uncertainty around availability.

After my Popmart Pop-Up disappointment, I made my way up to Level 3 for a fun, photo-filled escape with the Labubu Mini Market. Under the hot, sunny weather, I couldn’t resist walking through each whimsical installation. From oversized Labubu figures to the vibrant displays of the Wacky Mart series, everything was just too cute to resist. It’s the perfect spot for any Labubu fan (or anyone looking for an Instagram-worthy moment).

While it was already adorable in the daytime, I can only imagine how magical it must look when the sun sets. With the lighting turning on and the stunning view of Sentosa in the background, the whole scene transforms into something truly special. So, if you’re planning to swing by, I’d recommend visiting at night for the full experience, it’s bound to be even more enchanting!
