No intention to share anything on my birthday this year but I'm kinda bored so decided to churn out this post to share a bits. Nothing special. Just another day gone by on my birthday month, which is April!
19 APRIL 2024HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRICE IN CONCERT
Brought the husband for his first concert at Esplanade Theatre (actually mine too) and it was Harry Potter (can I consider myself as Potterhead?). I have always dreamt of watching the movie along with the live orchestra music, which I have seen them in other countries. It was epic! I loved it so much. Round of applause! Although the original symphony orchestra would be better, but the performance by Metropolitan Festival Orchestra has done well too. It was a two-nights performance and apparently it was full house on the first night (that's when I watched). Can't feel more full watching it live.

TAI TAI DAY WITH MY LADIES
Now my Tai Tai Club is joined with another girlfriend of mine. Welcome to the club Anna! This is how we roll on our Tai Tai Day. Dressed up (with at least a branded bag), shopping, brunch and hi-tea. Something bimbotic but it felt so good! But I'm the one who was shopping away at Hermes (met a nice SA) and Dior (my appointment that day with my SA of nearly 2 years). Brought them to my now favourite pre-loved shop to see bags and accessories. And finally, all 3 of us bought chocolates from Le Chocolat at Louis Vuitton MBS before heading to P.S Cafe to chill out. Happy me! Thanks for the food treats, my ladies!

DAILY BEER AT TELOK AYER
My colleagues gave me a birthday lunch treat at Daily Beer. Korean Fried Chicken for the win! We have been to a few Korean Fried Chicken shops together and now onto another. I think we can call ourselves Korean Fried Chicken gang. The food were great but the boo point will be the serving time. It came almost an hour later when all other tables who came later than us were served. They missed our order. Got the audacity not to apologize for missing our orders, especially when we have a pregnant colleague with us. Oh what came late was the fried chicken. The rest were served but the main thing was the fried chicken. Put them in place for a Google Review even if it is a one time thing! Anyway, thanks for the treat my ladies!

MY BIRTHDAY AT MY PARENT'S
Decided to go back home for lunch since it was a Saturday and also to bring them a microwave to replace with their current. Can't be more irritating to annoy them on my birthday till they gave up arguing with me. Hahaha... I'm this bad but can't help because they gave me my life. As usual, food delivery to the house and my Dad bought a cake from the bakery at the market. Nothing fancy, just like the usual on birthdays since young. Brought home a portion of the cake for my breakfast! Let no food go to waste okay? Also bagged a pack of longevity buns my Dad bought. So Happy 43th to myself and work towards my goal of staying healthy to earn more money to travel around the world to enjoy the luxury of time at my own pace with my loved ones. And also buy all my dream bags!

BELATED BIRTHDAY DINNER WITH MY LADIES
So we finally met after postponing for a long time as some of us were travelling abroad and to the same country, Japan. Decided on 49 Seats for some Tom Yum food of all kinds. The Fish & Chips I had was not bad, fresh and crispy, not too dry and dipping into the Tom Yum sauce was great. Not forgetting the Friendship bands one of them got for all 3 of us. Nice and super nostalgia. Do you make yourself and friends such bands in your school days? Thank you for the night of catching up!

So what have I got for myself this 43th year on earth? I would say, many. I bought almost every single Dior items from my favourite FB Live and my SA at Dior, lastly the husband finally 'chopped' one hand of his and bought me my very first pre-loved Chanel bag in excellent condition! That's enough for me though. He is not that sort who will splurge on luxury, unlike me.

Okay I guess that's about it, although I know still got friends gonna meet me for belated birthday meet-ups. Hahaha... but good too because I still have tiny gifts from my Taiwan trip in March to pass them. Shall see when though since is May already. Now I'm looking forward to my Japan trip already. Stay tune!
