In honor of Starbucks’ 30th Anniversary in Singapore (opened in 14.12.1996) , they released exclusive store stamps across 8 iconic outlets . I set out on a two-week mission to collect every single one. And it turned out to be equal parts of café exploration and endurance test; braving the intense tropical heat of Singapore and racking up serious steps as part of my daily exercise, just to reach outlets like Gardens by the Bay! But discovering new stores and filling up my journal made every step worth it. Here’s how the whole quest went down! Grab a journal card at any of the 8 iconic stores and get started! #1 Stop - Chinatown My stamp hunt officially kicked off at the 37 Smith Street outlet in Chinatown, the most convenient starting point for me since it’s just one stop train ride from my office during m...
Product Review | Your Home Cinema Experience with LUMOS NANO Portable Projector
One day, my bestie was telling me that she bought a projector for her home, mostly for her entertainment in the room and not having to fight for the television in the living room with the men in her house. It saved space, reasonable price and the projected screen could be bigger than television.
I'm against having a television in the bedroom since we moved in because I liked to sleep without any sound and didn't want too much electronic stuff in the room as it isn't that good for our health. But Mister needed some sound (or noise) in order to help with his sleep. How then?
Was intrigued by the NEWLUMOS NANO Home Cinema Mini Portable Projector. Other than having to tolerate the 'noise pollution' in the room (give and take), it only needs charging full to last you for 2 hours of home cinema experience. Most importantly, no need to connect electricity to operate.

Bringing LUMOS NANO Home Cinema Mini Portable Projector out is easy but do remember to charge it full before you head out or bring along the charger, just in case. Because based on my experience, it will just cut off when the battery is drained out. It will be quite disappointing if you are in the middle of an exciting scene of a movie.
Palm Size LUMOS NANO Portable Projector
Easy to carry everywhere you go
Whether it is a 32" or 55" television at home, the projected screen can 'blow up from 60" up to 100" big, that is almost twice or thrice the size of a television. Talk about domestic (television) versus home cinema (projector) use. I think the latter win.
Projector vs 32" TV
The Premium DLP Technology with 1500 lumens makes every video or movie looking so clear with vivid colours, and also a good resolution on screen. You can also adjust the screen on the side of the projector when required.
What I really loved was the Dolby Audio speakers. The sound floats out free of the projector speaker that makes it so clear. Just listen to feel it. Playing music from it makes me wanna dance along. And I'm not kidding when I said I really did! Party Time!
Wardrobe as the makeshift screen
Relax and drool while you watch those amazing food vlogs
It feels like the Aurora is heading out of the screen
My ceiling view that looks like a starry night.
The Google Play Store is available in the Menu so just download whatever apps you want, like Facebook and you can start watching FB Live or videos on your feed on the big screen with your family. Or what I did was using EShare to mirror my phone over to the screen and do whatever you want.
Watching FB Live on screen
Using EShare app as an alternative remote control
I had a good time using LUMOS NANO Home Cinema Mini Portable Projector with its good surround sound quality for me to blast with music, the good picture quality on the 'blown-up' projected screen and most importantly, convenient to bring out for sharing session, movie night or party with your families and friends. It is a one good entertainment device that everyone should get their hands on.
The only thing I look forward to will be a physicalall-in-one remote controller with an Air Keyboard. Since the Air Mouse is in place, why not a keyboard too? I actually have one at home and it was such a saviour. Do you know it took me awhile to setup the projector as you need to key in your login details for Google, Netflix and also Youtube, and the clicking and shifting can be quite a hassle. But after you are done, everything is swift and smooth.
To see is to believe. I made a short video so do watch. And my Instagram followers should have seen my InstaStory of blasting music with LUMOS NANO Home Cinema Mini Portable Projector.
