【NO MORE】Shopping Hacks for $0.10 Deals || Lifestyle

5 piece Rings for $0.07

Remember my previous on how to thrift in our expensive country? Read here if u haven't. Now I have another way which I wanna share with you peeps and thanks to my classmate for this money saving lobang for small items for personal, gifts or even household use. Totally no need spend too much to buy from outside with some of the same quality, and is cheaper here on Shopee's Daily $0.10 Sales.

It is always good to meet up with friends once awhile as it is not just a catch up session but also a knowledge sharing (as quoted by my classmate) session like how and where to grab deals, how to do your own fake lashes, food hunts and lots of women (and some men, maybe) stuff too. Sharing is Caring. So I shall dedicate this post to my dearest classmate Sandrea for sharing with at our classmates' gathering. This is so helpful for those who are money tight, wants to save money or like me, pure stingy on small items.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO???
  • Focus on Daily $0.10 Sales (don't off the track);
  • Check the preview of each hour's deals in advance (give you an idea what you may need so buy in a sensible way);
  • Choose 'Self-Collection' to save on delivery fee and collect at your convenience;
  • If default $1 delivery fee, try to claim Free Shipping vouchers with no minimum spending (if any);
  • Offset with 3 coins and you pay only $0.07 per item (max limit per item);
  • Write a decent length of review with photo and video (at least 3 secs) for 7 coins.
I shop on Shopee platform most of the time but not that Daily $0.10 Sales section. What have I been missing out for so long? With the possible recession (fingers crossed don't let it happen please), inflation and rising costs, better save money now before it is too late. You can get items from fashion accessories, household items to beauty items and more.

BASIC CONCEPT: Buy at cheaper price, use to the maximum shelf life then throw away without feeling a pinch.

WHAT I BOUGHT: FASHION ACCESSORIES

Good to use for low-cut clothing instead of buying anti-glare stickers.

WHAT I BOUGHT: BEAUTY PRODUCTS
For gifts or own use. I tried one of them and it was good. No bad reaction on my skin.

If the original price is >$5, consider premium so grab it! (tips from my classmate)

Hand creams to prevent my hands from looking wrinkled.

Too dark a colour. I like natural or light colours.

Not sure if it works but have to try to know.

WHAT I BOUGHT: BEAUTY ESSENTIALS

Gonna file my dry heels and apply moisturizer for smooth skin.

Dirty hands no more when applying my BB cream. Too cute not to buy.

Spot those sellers who are generous in giving 2 or more pieces for $0.10 in total.

WHAT I BOUGHT: INNER WEAR/ CLOTHINGS/ SOCKS

Same material as those we see outside. There are for kids, ladies and men too.

Thin material so match with same bra colour.

Okay for material wise and fits just right. Just right!

Lack elasticity and soft material. Treat as disposable underwears also can. Bring it for travel.

WHAT I BOUGHT: OTHER ACCESSORIES

Messy hair no more. I don't like pink though.

Shield those blue light while working on your laptop or phone and even tv.

Prep them for travelling, in case the wind blows bigger than the heavy rain.

WHAT I BOUGHT: STORAGE ESSENTIALS

6 Compartment Medicine Box. Worth the price.

No more hooking on my arms from now on and easy to clean too.

Can be used as gift bags or storage bags.

WHAT I BOUGHT: FITNESS ESSENTIALS

Exercising at home need not be expensive anymore.

Still prefer the cotton one than this material which feels like leggings type of material.

Velcro on one side to secure. For hand or ankle.

Saviour for treadmill home owners.

WHAT I BOUGHT: HOUSEHOLD ITEMS

Change regularly to prevent bacteria growth.

Bottle brush is my savior as I hate using the makeshift ways to clean my Tupperware bottles.

No more loud slamming sounds from doors especially.

Pasting it on the right spot where the sound come from.

Curate your own feminine tool bag.

Space saver for your wardrobe or hanging rack.

Small but useful for our cleaning tasks.

Mini size but good enough to hook on ladies' bag.

No need to dirty your hands again.

Mini light bulb for the night.

Messy wires no more.

Always lack of rubber bands. Always.

Gonna need more. Kind of space saver for the fridge.

Wanted a normal torchlight but got this.

But UV torchlight helps us check on counterfeit notes.

WHAT I BOUGHT: COVERS/PROTECTORS

Random card for illustration but Passport is real. Haha...

Random card for illustration

WHAT I BOUGHT: PHONE ACCESSORIES

Your phone can be placed vertical or horizontal on the stand.

Wish that the ring is thicker, more comfortable to hold.

WHAT I BOUGHT: KITCHEN ESSENTIALS

Baking Tools need not be expensive now for amateur bakers.

Cake Toppers can be this pretty and reusable.

The quality is exactly the same as my existing. Eco-friendly.

WHAT I BOUGHT: CLEANING ESSENTIALS

Keyboard brush with dustpan. But brittle hair. 7 cents, can't complain.

Use this when hand soap is unavailable. For camping or hiking too.

Lightweight and convenience to carry around.

Dust off the dirt from your shoes.

For my spectacles and probably phones too.

Can smell the alcohol so assume is good for cleaning.

Wooden type so careful when you use. Too rough, it breaks.

The price is a steal. Must buy!

SO WHAT ARE THE CONS? (Experiences by me)
  • You may not get the items you want even if you standby there waiting (I missed out quite a few items I wanted);
  • Quantity only 1 if you want to grab at 10cents (some limit on sizes/colours too);
  • Different hour, different items. May repeat on any other days or time. So want to buy a 2nd piece, browse the list for the day;
  • Selection is applicable for some items so do check carefully which one is selling at $0.10;
  • Limit on usage of coins (each purchase can only use 3 coins to offset);
  • Not all the $0.10 items have self-collection options so if don't have, don't buy;
  • A quota each day for the same self-collection point;
  • Search your parcels at collection point can be a hassle as there are many parcels (at least for my collection point);
  • Once you hooked on 10cents purchase, you will see others as expensive if >$0.10 (at least for me).
SO WHAT'S WORTH BUYING???
For those who don't want their wall to crack from door slam by either adults or kids, buy this and stick on the wall where the sound comes from. It works for my cabinet door and kitchen door.
The quality is about the same as what we get outside those stalls selling 3 for $5 or whatever price it is. Now I don't feel a pinch anymore.
I like the frosted cover and texture is better and won't get scratched easily, even though is also plastic material.
An alternative of handsoap as I encountered toilets with no handsoap and you just need water to dissolve it for washing your hands. Comes in handy if you are out on a hiking, camping or travelling (for example).
It works perfectly on our Samsung phone and for phones without stylus, this is an affordable alternative. You can draw or edit anything on your phone (tested with photos inside our phone).
The quality is almost the same as the famous brand. The green and yellow type so now I won't want to spend so much for sponges, even the once $2 shop also lose out.
Really useful if you wanna save energy. Just plug in to your laptop USB port and start working in the dark. Not bright enough? Get 2 of them and light up your area. Choose white light instead of warm light. But maybe it will 'eat up' your laptop battery. Still doable.

Or you can check out https://linki.ee/heystellachen for some of my products I have used and recommended.

PS: The links above are their original prices for your reference. Wait for their $0.10 Sales (if any) or you can check out other sellers too for similar items.

SO MY CONCLUSIONS:
  1. Buying at cheaper price without feeling a pinch;
  2. You aren't a cheapskater but a SMART SAVER;
  3. Don't expect high quality for the price you pay (but some are surprisingly better than expected);
  4. For some items, colours are randomly given so take it or leave it;
  5. Be SMART! Do look out for $0.10 Sales with multiple pieces for the price $0.10 only;
  6. Don't buy sample size (<3g) facial masks/liquid masks/mud masks;
  7. Buy what you need and don't overdo;
  8. Those appear at $0.99 section will end up in $0.10 section so be patient.
  9. Be patient as it might take awhile for your items to reach Singapore;
  10. Then you can save for more important stuff (for parents, kids, retirement etc) and big ticket items (house reno, home furnishing/appliances, holidays etc);
  11. Beat the inflation and price hike out there together!
By the way, I spent less than $10 for over 100 items. Hehehe... Enjoy shopping!
