Food Review | Acai Delivery (also known as The Acai Lab)


I swear I have never tried Acai Bowls before and don't know much about them except that they are some healthy stuff and expensive one.

From what I have observed, most of their Specialty Bowls have almost standard ingredients mainly Acai (for sure), blueberries, coconut flakes and raisins.

Mister doesn't really like having those superfoods in it as they are dry stuff and just stuck in between the teeth while having. I'm neutral on that.


This Signature bowl comes with 10 different toppings like Granola, Banana, Strawberry, Blueberry, Kiwi, Raisin, Pumpkin Seed, Coconut Flake, Cranberry, Chia Seed along with Acai, of course. The white chunk of chia seeds felt so chilly when you bite on.


The PurpleBlend™ used as Acai base is a combination of 60% Pure Acai Puree with 20% of various purple superfoods to achieve a smooth, rich purple base in every bowl. It also has this volume of creaminess by adding in 10% of Banana and Almond Milk each. Taste like an icy cup of berry smoothie while maintaining its light and fresh base.

The PurpleBlend™ is beneficial for our immunity, improving brain and gut health, and skin complexion. Absorption of antioxidants from the purple superfoods.


This bowl will be a special one with Acai Mango Base as compared with the rest and you will be loaded with antioxidants that are needed for your body. If this is not enough, you can opt for add-ons at $1 each like drizzles (peanut butter, honey and etc), superfoods (cranberries, chia seeds and etc) and summer fruits (strawberries, blueberries and etc). Overall, it serves as a very nutritious dessert and I'm quite impressed as a first-timer. Was told to freeze them for 30 minutes before having it for a better experience. You can freeze it longer but gonna have a hard biting on dry stuff (or the superfoods). Still, is worth it. And I did. It turned out so chilly, a little frosty, like having a refreshing sorbet. And it felt like having a thirst-quenching smoothie coming from the PurpleBlend™. 

My idea is to order a Large Acai Pint from them and freeze it to have it like sorbet. Solely consuming the goodness of that Acai Puree. Do you agree with me?
