Starbucks Weave RWS Is Here... But with a Digital Twist
Welcome to my happy place a.k.a Starbucks at Weave Sentosa
If you haven't heard yet, Resorts World Sentosa just welcomed Starbucks Weave on July 16, and I was on the ground on July 17 to explore every corner after half a day at work. And can I say that it was my happiest day because I'm at my happy place?
While the ambiance and coffee were incredible, the store’s Bearista mascots stole my heart. Every corner with their presence is photo-worthy for sure. And I couldn't help but wonder: what would these charming mascots look like living in a fully animated, dreamlike world?
Thanks to a bit of AI magic, I reimagined my photos with the help of the photo editor and it turned the store's backdrop into an animated storybook setting without altering our beloved Bearistas one bit! Here’s a peek at the photo story and try spotting the difference.

I actually gifted Starbuck Merlion plushie to my husband’s nephew, who migrated with his parents to Australia when he was young. It’s a sweet little reminder that no matter where you move or what passport you hold, born a Singaporean, always a Singaporean! Even my brother grabbed a few Starbucks Merlion keychains for his son to gift to his teachers in Malaysia. They truly make the absolute best souvenirs and gifts, don't you think?

I don't know how they keep doing it, but this latest keychain just completely took my money! Honestly, please give this designer a raise. Whoever came up with this has such an incredible eye for color, especially with those gorgeous Peranakan-inspired outfit details. Great! Christmas is just 5 months away. Continue to take my money ya Starbucks. Arrgh... my chillax place too during lunch hours. Take it!

Did you know that Starbucks Weave is the first and only store in Singapore to offer custom laser engraving services? I first saw this service in Korea, so I was thrilled to find it here! It's available for selected tumblers on display at the counter. Plus, if you buy one, the engraving is free! Check out with their staff for more information.
On another note... can you believe I actually resisted buying more of their socks this time? I already have the previous collection, and honestly how many feet do I even have?! The new colors and designs are bold, and I was a little shy about drawing too much attention.
So instead, I treated myself to another mug with a 3D Bearista popping right out of it. I mean, how could I resist? So damn cute! New addition to my collection.

I ended up passing on the brand-new drink menu this time and opted for my trusty Yuzu Aerocano instead. As for the pastries, I skipped the Bearista cakes and cake pops and went straight for the Bearista Cookies. Let’s be real. I only have one tummy, and there’s no way I could fit all those treats at once by myself! And I'm not heading home straight that day too.
So if you head down, do me a favor and give the cakes a try for me, okay? And let me know how's the taste.

ICYMI: I actually shared a blog post back in 2021 showing off my Starbucks collection! But truth be told, my "relationship" with Starbucks goes back way further than that, probably all the way to 2012 when I was working at NUS. Looking at my collection now, I’m thinking it might finally be time for a full video update to show how much it's grown over the years!
