You know why I have a thing for Dior so much than any other brands? I remembered seeing people carrying Dior's embroidery tote bag and also some unknown brands with almost similar designs and I liked it because of the prints and colours. Caught my eyes instantly. Back then I only knew Christian Dior as luxury brand and how expensive their products were. Thereafter, I looked up on Dior's website and started falling in love with their bags (but not the price). And also its name, Dior. Like super cool name they got there.
Fast forward. Yes I got my 1st Dior tote bag at the age of 40 years old (wish granted!). Unlike others who could get anytime at much younger age, probably these people earning more than I do (of course) or just that YOLO mentality. I'm educated in the old fashioned way (NO YOLO mindset) so priorities back then like studies, savings and home loan were more important. But now when my only commitment is my parents (as I'm older), I told myself maybe I can splurge a little. Just a little, once awhile. From as little as a lip glow to a bigger item like my 1st Dior bag (that took me years to save and splurge on one bag you know!), even when they gave free samples, I loved it wholeheartedly because is Dior. 💋
THE ATELIER OF DREAMS POP-UP 2022 OUTSIDE ION ORCHARD
The moment I heard about this pop-up, I made my way there on the same day that I'm meeting my friends at Orchard. So beautiful and especially at night along with Orchard Road's Christmas lightings. Dior Atelier of Dreams Pop-up could be seen in other countries like Seoul (Korea), Japan, Paris (of course) and so on. Wished I could 'check-in' at all the pop-ups in different countries (that's a lot of money to travel) but I'm still happy with the one in Singapore! Gorgeous... I have penchant not only on bags but colours like gold or rose gold. White base with gold or black base with gold, MY FAVOURITE!
This year 2022, I gave my Christmas Tree at home a photoshoot with my Dior (boxes and paper bags. hahaha). How I wished I have a Dior Christmas Tree at home every December. This was a dream but I made it half come true. Shall improve again for 2023 Christmas photoshoot at home. Think Stella, think. Maybe do hanging ornaments or cur-outs with the boxes or paperbags to hang on the tree. Please look forward to 2023 Stella's Christmas Tree Edition.

I also started to get their beauty stuff even though I don't put on make-up a lot but during Lunar New Year visiting. Or let me try putting a little effort on make-up since I bought. Not gonna waste money right? But the only thing was this cushion didn't have refills and it would be such a waste to threw the pretty case away. Not eco-friendly at all.

2. Lip Glow: 001 Pink
3. Forever Cushion Powder: Light colour
DIOR'S PERFUMES
I tried many brands from Lancome, Kenzo, Victoria Secret and so on. But found that they didn't have the chemistry with my body. So sometimes the smell would turn weird or made me smelt funky. Now I'm glad I got Miss Dior EDP that has the perfect chemistry with me. I liked flowery and fruity smell. Even my colleague liked the smell of Miss Dior. Zero regrets. And the bottle is so pretty for collection.

Was introduced to this J'adore series which was non-alcohol type and suitable for pregnant woman (nope I'm not) and because I got sensitive skin for a lot time so non-alcohol stuff would be my choice if possible. I just loved the pleasing smell (got chemistry with me), very light and my friend agreed too. But I found that this one didn't last long than Miss Dior. Probably I would try again to determine.

I have successfully influenced Mister to try Dior's Sauvage EDP too. However, he found that it wasn't lasting enough than his Polo Ralph so this year 2022's Christmas gift, I got him Sauvage Parfum. The smell was stronger and nicer which he liked. Shall wait for his feedback when he starts using. He used to collect perfumes too so shall restart a brand new collection with Dior's and Polo Ralph.

GET TO KNOW ABOUT CHRISTIAN DIOR
Because most of my closer friends knew my Dior obsession, one of them sent me this YT link to watch and I got to know more about the brand and loved it even more. Do watch if you are a Dior fan like me but this is a Taiwanese program so remember to turn on English subtitles (if any or needed). Not gonna do unboxing videos of my miserable 2 bags (unlike others who have more than that) to avoid embarrassing myself (I saw many YT unboxing videos thou). Probably photos will do, for me to look at and/or for you peeps as a reference on what you might wanna buy next time.
DIOR'S BAGS
My 1st bag from Dior. You must be wondering why I bought this instead of embroidery type. Mister forbids the latter (even more after seeing and touching it in the shop) because if the bag is so pricey already, of course buying those in lambskin or calfskin a.k.a leather (not those PVC type) will be a better choice. So I never get embroidery type even when I find it so pretty. I settled for this Calfskin one which is similar with my friend's who got earlier than me. 姐妹包 Sisters' bag they said. Later on, I got a bag organizer from Shopee for this bag because there isn't any compartments inside or zipper on top of this Medium size bag. Feel safer when I bring out for work or outings and also is precious to me. And I picked this bag to use based on mood.

My 2nd bag from Dior and still getting their Signature/Classic ones. Lady Dior is really hard to resist because of the variety of colours. I'm quite bored with black colour already after my friend talked us out about trying more colours and as time passed, I think I can pull off with other colours too. So nowadays I try my best to avoid black and get more variety of colours for the wardrobe (did so for Mister too). This blue was chosen by Mister because it was outstanding and not too loud. More towards pastel blue in Lambskin. But honestly, I should get a Large one instead of Medium. I'm a big bag person. And super glad I got it before GST hike.

Since young, I loved bags and my mum couldn't stand it before I got married because I kept buying. My preference changes as I grow up, from pasar malam a.k.a night market, to established brand like Charles & Keith (I really loved theirs when I started working) and now, more luxury brands of bags. Oh... now my Mister's turn to get annoyed by my bags and cups (and Pooh bear) collection. Read about my cups collection here.
Shall always work within my means and some consideration before pampering myself to such luxe items because is all coming from my hard-earned money and nothing from the Mister. Heart pain but then worth it! Like my friend always said, 活在当下 and also because of this, I kind of over-do the pampering. But 开心就好. But 口袋不开心. Then my friend again said money can earn back but you can't bring it to your own grave. Again her words like 是想害死我 sia. Wait I haven't die and all money gone, how sia? Still, every cent counts and just need to be mindful with my spending on indulgence (I know I can do it).
Anyway, I want to give Santa my wish list 1 year in advance. Dear Santa, please grant me my wish of dressing in Dior from top to bottom. Dior and only Dior. I promise to be good to deserve this wish. Thank you very much.
