When we were kids, it wasn’t easy for our parents to watch us grow up and transition into independent adults. Now watching our parents grow older is never easy too, especially when memory begins to fade. Over the past few years, particularly since the COVID period, I started noticing small changes in my mum as time goes by. At first, it was forgetfulness. Then it began to hit hard with repetition, confusion, and moments that felt unfamiliar. Brought them out to the mall for a walk. What makes it harder is that my dad is her primary caregiver, managing almost everything at home while the rest of us live separately. Like many families, we’re learning as we go, figuring out how to support both of them in ways that are practical, sustainable, and compassionate. Perfect Day

Haha... jus came bk from e Great Eastern Women Run and is damn shiok! I run today wit a strategy: slow run! Wahaha.. N it reali helps! I can endure up to 3km then felt abit lazy so I stop then continue wit e last 1km. Haha.. my strategy works and I gt no problem like last time. Actually is the help of banana. It is reali an energy food. I had one in e mornin b4 e run and it helps mi tru e run together wit my strategy. Nt bad.!! I shall train hard for my Standard Chartered Run which is a 10km run. My results today is way beta than at Shape Run. 3 cheers to Stella! After Standard Chartered Run, I shall take a break til next year for another round of the marathons. Haha... Tis yr I should hv went for 4 marathons. Yeah...
